Description
Cypress Essential Oil (Organic) has a fresh woody aroma with green needle, dry twig, pale smoke, and balsamic conifer depth. It does not behave like cedarwood or pine. Cypress is leaner than cedar, less cleaner-obvious than pine, and more structured than soft fir.
The first impression is fresh and green. As the sharper edge fades, the scent becomes drier and more balsamic, leaving a clean woody residue that works well in soaps, shower products, room sprays, diffusers, body oils, beard products, natural perfumes, and blends with grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, lavender, rosemary, cedarwood, juniper, pine, vetiver, or incense notes.
Organic status supports sourcing expectations, not a different scent. Used heavily, cypress can become sharp, dry, austere, or too cologne-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
