Description

Clove Bud Essential Oil has a rich, warm spicy aroma with sweet clove, dry wood, phenolic bite, and a long heated trail. It is rounder and fuller than sharper clove leaf-style materials, but it is still a powerful hot oil rather than a soft seasonal spice.

The first impression is immediate and familiar: sweet clove bud, aromatic heat, and dry medicinal spice. In the drydown, the sweetness becomes woodier and more phenolic, leaving a long residue that works well in diffusers, soaps, spice accords, autumn-winter blends, natural perfumes, and carefully formulated body products.

Clove Bud needs restraint. Used lightly, it gives blends warmth, identity, and strong seasonal recognition, especially with orange, cinnamon, ginger, cedarwood, vanilla, and resins. Used too heavily, it can become harsh, hot, medicinal, and overpowering. In topical products, it should only be used with appropriate formulation guidance.

Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
