Botanical Name: Rosa Canina
Rosehips is the fruiting body of the Rose bush. It has a long history in herbal medicine, and is recognised as having one of the highest natural concentrations of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), with up to 60 times the Vitamin C of citrus fruit. Rosehips is also known to contain bioflavonoids, that aid in the absorption of Vitamin C. As a result, Rosehip is used to assist in maintaining healthy skintone and promote wound and burn healing.
