Description
Flaxseed Carrier Oil, also known as Linseed Oil, brings a soft, functional character to skincare and body-care formulations. It spreads with a slightly weighty glide and leaves a noticeable finish that feels more natural and ingredient-led than polished or neutral.
It works well in simple skincare, body oils, creams, balms and hair-care blends where its seed-like identity is welcome. This is not the best oil for formulas that need to feel very clean, light or fragrance-neutral. Used carefully, it adds softness and substance. Used too heavily, Flaxseed Carrier Oil can feel oily, earthy or too present in the finished product.
Shelf life:Users can expect a shelf life of 12 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
