Description
Broccoli Seed Virgin Carrier Oil brings a distinctive slippy glide to skin and hair-care formulations. It spreads smoothly, gives products a polished feel, and leaves a light glossy finish without the heavier coating of richer body oils.
Its glide is the main identity. It is useful in hair oils, serums, face oils and smoothing products where the formula needs movement, slip and a cleaner finish. The virgin form may carry more natural character than refined oils, which can be useful in simple ingredient-led formulas. Used too heavily, Broccoli Seed Virgin Carrier Oil can feel too slick or glossy, especially in products meant to feel soft rather than polished.
Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended

| Common uses | The perfect choice for your butters, and balms, where it will reduce greasiness and extend the shelf life, while offering a protective activity due to the excellent anti-oxidant profile. Be careful of using too much in these products as it will absorb quickly and rob your customer of the nurtured effect. It is also an excellent choice for lip balms where it will offer natural shine and anti-oxidant protection. It is exceptional moisturising on ageing or mature skin, as well as dull, dry hair. It is best used in high dilution unless you can find a way around the scent, which is not as easy as it is very herbal. You may want to use a herbal blend of essential oils to compliment the natural odour rather than trying to mask it. |
