Description
Babassu Virgin Carrier Oil gives formulations a quick-melting, silky feel with more natural character than refined babassu. It spreads easily across the skin, gives products clean slip, and leaves a lighter residue than many richer carrier oils.
It works well in creams, balms, body butters, hair-care products and cleansing formulations where smooth movement and a less greasy finish are wanted. Its natural character can make simple formulas feel more ingredient-led, but it may be noticeable in delicate or fragrance-led products. Used too heavily, Babassu Virgin Carrier Oil can make a formula feel light and smooth but less cushioned than customers expect from richer body care.
Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended
