Odour (decreasing): Sweet, balsamic with fruity nuances
Uses: Methyl Cinnamate is widely used in perfume compositions, but normally at very low concentration. It imparts power and sweet-fruity, balsamic Oriental notes to Ambre bases, Citrus colognes (where it blends excellently with Labdanum products), Carnation (where it introduces freshness), Narcisse, Lavender, Fruit and Spice blends, etc.
