Description
Spanish Marjoram Essential Oil has a fresh herbal aroma with cineole vapour, pale camphor, dry herb, and faint spice. It should not be confused with Sweet Marjoram. Spanish Marjoram is cleaner, sharper, and more camphoraceous, with a freshness that sits closer to rosemary, niaouli, or soft eucalyptus.
The first impression is airy and herbal, then the scent settles into dry spice and pale vapour. This makes it useful in soaps, shower products, room sprays, diffusers, cleansing-style blends, massage blends, herbal accords, and blends with rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, pine, thyme, lemon, cajeput, tea tree, or mint.
Spanish Marjoram works best when used for lift, not softness. Used heavily, it can become medicinal, thin, harsh, or too eucalyptus-like.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
