Description
Rosemary French Essential Oil has a fresh herbal aroma with green rosemary twig, pine-like lift, pale camphor, and dry aromatic bitterness. It does not behave like soft culinary herb. The essential oil is brighter, cleaner, and more penetrating, especially when the cineole or camphor side is noticeable.
The first impression is green and airy, then the scent settles into dry twig and herbal bitterness. This makes French Rosemary useful in shampoos, scalp oils, soaps, shower gels, diffusers, room sprays, massage blends, herbal perfumes, and blends with lemon, lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, cedarwood, pine, basil, or thyme.
French Rosemary works best when its sharpness is controlled. Used lightly, it gives clean herbal lift. Used heavily, it can become medicinal, harsh, camphor-heavy, or too herb-cupboard familiar.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
