Description
Katrafay Essential Oil has a dry woody aroma with warm bark, earthy depth, soft balsam, and faint sweetness. It does not behave like bright conifer oil or heavy resin. Katrafay sits lower and drier, with a bark-like warmth that becomes more noticeable after the first impression has settled.
The first impression is woody and earthy, then the scent softens into balsamic warmth and pale sweetness. This makes Katrafay useful in massage blends, body oils, balms, soaps, natural perfumes, woody accords, quiet diffusions, and blends with cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, frankincense, citrus, spice, and balsams.
Katrafay works best as a dry support material. Used lightly, it gives warmth, structure, and a quiet woody residue. Used heavily, it can become dusty, flat, overly dry, or bark-heavy.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
