Description
Clove Stem Essential Oil has a hot, dry, spicy aroma with woody clove, phenolic sharpness, and a long medicinal-spice trail. It sits between Clove Bud and Clove Leaf in customer recognition: less sweet and rounded than Bud, less green than Leaf, but still powerful, eugenol-rich, and immediately recognisable.
The first impression is sharp, dry, and forceful. Given a little time, the clove note becomes woodier and leaner, leaving a persistent spice residue that works in diffusers, soaps, spice accords, seasonal blends, natural perfumes, and carefully formulated body products.
Clove Stem needs restraint. Used lightly, it gives warmth, structure, and dry clove definition. Used heavily, it can become harsh, irritating, medicinal, and flat, taking over softer citrus, wood, resin, or vanilla notes instead of supporting them.
Essential oils can be applied topically once diluted with a carrier oil. They are widely used in cosmetic goods and handmade crafts.
