Description
Camelina oil has been found to contain high amounts of omega – 3 fatty acids, like flaxseed oil, which make it suitable for use as a general purpose oil. It contains approxiamtely 15-20% linoleic acid (omega 6) and 35-42% alpha linolenic acid (omega 3). It is also rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants. Camelina does not promote the formation of harmful free radicals. Camelina has excellent emollient, cardiotonic, hypotensive, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, hydrating and moisturising properties.
Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 18 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
